Dog Training by The Way of the Dog
At The Way of the Dog Ltd we offer dog training support to clients with any breed of dog, however, our primary specialisation is centred around the development of the dogs classified as guardian breeds. We teach dog owners to train their dogs and puppies to foster new skills, whilst developing and enhancing existing abilities and nurturing hidden talents. The Way of the Dog Ltd services can be provided in Lancashire and across the North West, and across the UK by arrangement. In addition to covering Lancashire we offer dog training across Cheshire, Cumbria, and West Yorkshire.
Guardian Breed Puppy Development Programme
Personal Puppy Development Programme individually tailored to the needs of the family and their environment. A bespoke puppy training and development programme conducted during the critical social development periods is an absolute must. Following an initial consultation, we create a suitable puppy development package that meets your needs, is appropriate for your breed of dog, and is delivered in a safe learning environment.
One to One Dog Training
A private one-to-one dog training session supports and promotes individual learning at a pace that the individual dog and owner is comfortable with. A group training environment might be a barrier to participation and learning for some whilst a private one-to-one dog training session removes that barrier supporting healthy and rapid progression. The Way of the Dog Ltd delivers one-to-one dog training on our private training facility, we can offer home and local area training by appointment for certain requirements.
Specialist Dog Training
At The Way of the Dog Ltd we offer specialist dog training covering aspects of personal protection, dog security, and, detection work for private or corporate clients. Prior to providing specialist training of any kind a pre enrolment or professional engagement consultation will be carried out, handler suitability interviews maybe necessary and an assessment of a dog’s potential will be compulsory. We adopt a strict control policy regarding the delivery of any form of protection related training.
